1. Personal data

Personal data is data about you as a person. It includes your name, address, and email address. You do not have to disclose any personal data to be able to visit our website. In some cases, we need your name and address and other information to provide the requested service to you.

This applies likewise to cases in which we send you informational materials or reply to your inquiries. We will always alert you to this in these cases. In addition, we only store data you transferred to us automatically or voluntarily.

If you use one of our services, we typically collect only such data that is needed to provide our service to you. We may ask you for more information, but this will be on a voluntary basis. Whenever we process personal data, we do this to offer our service to you or to pursue our commercial goals.

2. Non-personal data that is stored automatically

When you visit our websites, we store certain information for administrative and technical reasons. These are: Type and version of browser used, date and time of access, and the IP address.

This data is anonymized and only used for statistical purposes or for improving our Internet and online services.

This anonymized data is stored – separately from personal data – on secure systems and cannot be associated with any individual. This means that your personal data remains protected at all times.

3. Cookies

When you visit our web pages, we may store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files which are transmitted to your browser by a web server and stored on its hard disk. The legal basis for the use of cookies is Art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR.

Only the Internet protocol address is stored here – no other personal information. The information stored in the cookies makes it possible that you are automatically recognized at your next visit to our website, which makes its use easier.

You can of course visit our web pages without accepting cookies. If you do not want that your computer is recognized at your next visit, you can reject the use of cookies by changing the settings in your browser to „Reject cookies“. You can find the respective procedure in the operating instructions for your browser. If you reject the use of cookies, there may be restrictions in the use of some areas of our web pages

4. Google Analytics with anonymizing function

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter called „Google“, on our website. Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, that is, text files that are stored on your computer and allow analysis of your use of the website.

The information generated by these cookies, for example time, place, and frequency of you website visits including your IP address, is transmitted to Google in the United States and stored there.

On our website, we use Google Analytics with the extension „_gat._anonymizeIp“. Your IP address is in this case truncated and thus anonymized by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Google will use this information to analyze your use of our website, to compile reports about website activities for us and to provide other services related to website use and Internet use.

Google will optionally transfer this information to third parties where this is stipulated by law or where third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

Google will in no case merge your IP address with other data of Google, according to its own statements. You can prevent the installation of the cookies by a respective setting in your browser software; but please note that you may then not be able to fully use all functions of our website.

Google also offers a deactivation add-on for the most common browsers, which gives you more control over which data Google collects about the website you viewed. The add-on informs the JavaScript (ga.js) of Google Analytics that no information about your website visit is to be transmitted to Google Analytics. But the deactivation add-on of Google Analytics does not prevent information from being transferred to us or to other web analysis services we may optionally use. For more information about installing the browser add-on, click on the following link:

When you visit our website using a mobile terminal (smartphone or tablet) you will have to click this link to prevent tracking by Google Analytics within this website in the future. This can also be used as an alternative to the above browser add-on. Clicking this link sets an opt-out cookie in your browser, which is only valid for this browser and this domain. If you delete the cookies in this browser, the opt-out cookie is deleted as well, and you have to click the link again.

If you have given your consent that Google links your web and app browser history to your Google account and information from your Google account is used to personalize ads, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create target group lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, Google Analytics first captures on our website your Google-authenticated ID which are linked to your Google account (that is, your personal data). Google Analytics then temporarily links your ID with your Google Analytics data to optimize our target groups.

If you do not agree with this, you can switch this feature off through respective settings in the „My Account“ area of your Google account.

5. Google reCAPTCHA

LSW uses the reCAPTCHA service by Google, Inc. (Google) to protect your orders via an Internet form. The query is used to distinguish whether an entry is made by a human or inappropriately by automated machine processing. The query includes shipping the IP address and, if required, other data needed by Google for its reCAPTCHA service to Google. For this purpose, your entry is transferred to Google and further used there. By using reCAPTCHA you agree that the recognition you perform is included in the digitalization of old works. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, Google will truncate your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

In exceptional cases only, your full IP address is transmitted to a server of Google in the United States and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to analyze your use of the service. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of reCAPTCHA is not merged with other data by Google. The deviating data protection regulations of Google apply to this data.
